Current Types of Egypt Car License Plates
Current Egypt license plates have used a 350x170 mm size since August 2008, similar to the American standard. The plates use black characters on a white background, except for a top band whose color varies depending on the type of vehicle. Egypt license plates are divided into two parts. The upper section features a band whose color varies according to the vehicle type, displaying the texts EGYPT in English and مصر in Arabic. The lower section is divided into two areas by a vertical gray band displaying the text "Arab Republic of Egypt". The left section shows a sequence of 3 or 4 numbers, while the right section displays a combination of two or three letters. In general, only Arabic numbers and letters are shown, although some plates may also display Latin numbers and letters below the Arabic characters. The usual configuration consists of four numbers and three letters, with the final letter identifying the region. You can check all regions here.
