Este nuevo sistema, que modifica considerablemente el sistema previo, dispone de caracteres negros sobre fondo blanco, mostrando una franja azul en la parte izquierda de la placa, con la bandera nacional en la parte superior y el c\u00f3digo del pa\u00eds \u201cSN\u201d en la parte inferior. En la parte derecha de la matr\u00edcula, se muestra el identificador regional.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este nuevo sistema, seg\u00fan ha comentado el presidente de Transportes de Senegal, no dispone de un identificador regional, ya que son matr\u00edculas emitidas a nivel nacional, teniendo el objetivo de rematricular todo el parque m\u00f3vil existente, evitando la elecci\u00f3n de n\u00fameros., adem\u00e1s de pasar a relacionar la matr\u00edcula no con el propietario sino con el veh\u00edculo, esto quiere decir que, cuando un propietario adquiera un nuevo veh\u00edculo, no necesitar\u00e1 modificar las matr\u00edculas del mismo en el caso de que se mantenga dentro de la misma regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este cambio tambi\u00e9n incluye el uso de una pegatina en el parabrisas en el que se muestra la matr\u00edcula del veh\u00edculo, la cual se rompe al intentar despegarla.
